Wireshark is available for Unix and Windows.Nevertheless, the dawn of Wireshark has enormously changed to the point that it is now available for free, open-source, and it has proven to be one of the best packet analyzers available in the market today. Sometime back, Wireshark and look-alike tools were either expensive, proprietary, or both.
